US groups pick native ad platform

Five US newspaper groups are to use ad platform Nativo as their native advertising provider.

The company names Hearst Newspapers, McClatchy, Gatehouse Media, Schurz and Sandusky as its new signings.

Nativo chief executive Justin Choi points to the opportunity to unlock new monetisation opportunities and create a new revenue channel that works cross-screen without increasing interruption. Nativo enables publishers to activate, deploy and manage native ad placements across all media properties, delivering branded content for marketers.
