Hearst Newspapers is the latest to take Newscycle's circulation management system, signing a long-term agreement for 14 of its properties.

The cloud-based system is being deployed in California, Connecticut, Texas, Michigan, Illinois and New York, with the Digital Paymeter subscription system at larger metro newspapers.

Upgrades will be automatic with the system set to improve every aspect of circulation and distribution. Newscycle sales vice president Randal Meske says Hearst is focussed on future growth and using technology that is critical to meeting its goals: "They are a long-time customer and we are excited to add the circulation and cloud technologies to the solution set."
