WAN-Ifra has partnered Google for the upcoming Asian Digital Media Awards, entries for which opened today.
The competition recognises publishers who have adopted digital media and mobile strategies as part of their total product offering to meet the major changes in how people consume news and information.
Work is evaluated by a panel of media professionals from around the world, last year including judges from the Globe & Mail, the Evening Standard, Havas, Gulf News, Schibsted and La Presse.
Search engine giant Google - which now accounts for the biggest share of digital advertising revenue - was very active at WAN-Ifra's Publish Asia event in Bangkok and is known to be keen to make partnerships in the region.
Entries must be submitted online from 9 June to 24 July, 2015.
