The custom app developed for the German title presents content in German or English, with each edition crafted to the publisher's needs, avoiding app updates for future editions.

Readers are able to search for content, access 'favourites' or return to the home screen through the menu and app interface, with 'progressive download functionality' allowing automatic downloads which can be accessed and read offline.

While in the app, readers are also able to access archived content at their convenience. A headline topic is focused on for each issue, giving readers a comprehensive picture that extends from the international debate right down to the practical activities on the ground. The magazine has been honoured with a number of awards, recognising its high level of both journalism and design.
