Local news publisher the Gallup Independent has signed for Roxen's web-based editorial system.

The 15,000 circulation daily and weekly the Navajo Nation Messenger in Gallup, New Mexico, has gone live this week.

Project leader Adron Gardner says the publisher was "really excited" at getting a modern and affordable system with built in InDesign functionality. A web interface allows editors as well as freelance contributors to add, manage and publish content, and Gallup will operate the system as a local cloud solution.
