Former sales vice president of Arbortext Mike Vail has joined Quark in a similar role.

Quark Software Inc announced Vail becomes responsible for managing enterprise sales teams for the Americas and Asia Pacific.

In more than 25 years in the industry, he worked with Arbortext until its acquisition by PTC, and then managed that company's global sales teams with a focus on service information solutions. Most recently Vail managed global sales for Quark content automation solutions partner GPSL.

Quark senior vice president of global sales and services John Friske says he is accomplished in leading teams selling enterprise software solutions in markets closely aligned to Quark's: "His expertise in content automation solutions will guarantee our continued growth and customer satisfaction."
