Ireland's Celtic Media Group will install Newscycle's advertising, content and production management platforms across its seven newspapers and ten other publications.

Based in Navan, the publisher has been serving local communities for more than 185 years, and is owned by its Irish management team following a management buyout in 2012.

Expansion of its bureau services will create a commercial newspaper production hub for smaller publications, with Celtic Media also providing advice for local newspapers.

The longtime Newscycle customer will modernise its entire ad management and production operations with the new Advertising system, as well as increasing its online advertising business through facilities which include self-service portals, ad tracking, and ad serving tools to measure multichannel ad performance.

Celtic financial director Frank Long says the software will meet requirements to achieve new, aggressive production goals as the group creates a larger production centre and includes other publications. "Newscycle provided a migration path that is allowing us to accomplish this," he says.

Celtic Media is the first Newscycle customer in Ireland to use the content, advertising and production platforms.
