Quark says it has upgraded 600 seats of QuarkXpress 2015 at Spain's Prensa Ibérica Media... and will release 2016 shortly.

Prensa Ibérica Media produces print and digital content - including 16 daily titles spanning almost every region of Spain - and has committed to the software until at l east 2018.

Public relations general manager Asunción Valdés Nicolau says new capabilities, with QuarkXPress Server, enable the publisher to automate its multichannel publishing workflow: "Our writers, editors and graphic designers are able to collaborate more effectively so we can reach our readers across Spain quickly with engaging content."

Features of the 2015 version include certified PDF/X-4 output and the ability to produce fixed layout e-books.
