Mumbai-based the Indian Express has signed to use the Outbrain discovery platform for its English-language websites including the Financial Express.

Renewal of a multi-year exclusive partnership will see the publisher deploy Outbrain's full stack of Engage solutions to drive monetisation and power personalised content journeys.

Indian Express has also confirmed plans to use the Visual Revenue product which allows newsroom editors to observe real-time data on content performance. Editorial teams will also be able to optimise content pages across any channel, screen size and device, with both automated and editorially-controlled solutions.

Head of product Vikas Handu says the partnership will enable Inidian Express to continue to tap into the sponsored content marketplace and expand opportunities to deeply engage and grow our audiences: "Over time they demonstrated that they are able to provide the best monetisation options across mobile, desktop and apps for Indian Express," he says.

India continues to be one of Outbrain's fastest growing markets and its latest partnership offers brands new publications on which to develop their content marketing strategy through content recommendation. Outbrain says it will aggregate these audiences with those from its previous local publisher and global site wins, such as India.com, The Hindu, Network18 and ESPN, CNN Time Inc., and Mashable. Its reach now includes a wide and diverse selection of verticals, so that brands can select audiences by interest, previous brand engagement, postcode, device and demographic data.
