Video advertising specialist Exponential has promoted Celine Liew to be its country manager for Malaysia.

She moves from regional sales director and video specialist in response to increased demand for video products across display, in-stream and mobile.

Managing director Ben Maudsleysays Liew has been key to our in Malaysia and south east Asia, making her appointment "an easy and logical decision".

She will focus on growing Exponential's proprietary VDX ad formats and Aero technology in Malaysia.

Recent reports by both Warc and Nielsen confirm that advertising budgets in Malaysia are increasingly moving towards digital, with advertising expenditure on digital formats rising by 25 per cent in 2015, with the spend on TV and print newspapers declining.
