Give and take: Add-ons ease donations and proposals

Systems to add fundraising tags and generate programmatic ad proposals are the latest additions to Newscycle's Connect programme.

Newcomers include CrowdRise - an online platform exclusive to charitable fundraising - and AdCellerant, a customisable proposal generation tool and recommendation engine for creating goal-based digital marketing and programmatic advertising campaigns.

Connect is an online portal for add-ons, APIs, SDKs and third-party solutions integrated into Newscycle platforms.

The AdCellerant sales enablement tool helps publishers produce intuitive and reliable programmatic advertising proposals in seconds, using proprietary algorithms and forecasting data built into its recommendation engine for reach projections and product blend suggestions specific to a client's industry, audience and location. For digital advertising campaigns, it pulls in audience-based forecasting information from third-party sources such as Google to generate proposals tied to an advertiser's goals and objectives.

CrowdRise allows editors and content creators to embed a customisable donation widget directly into news articles, with the platform tracking and reporting an audience's overall charitable impact in the marketplace. It helps drive new cause-oriented consumers to news media websites, while publishers retain all audience data.
