Ten owner ViacomCBS has started the build-up for its Paramount+ channel, promising it will be “not just another streaming service”.

A new teaser video offers viewers, “Spongebob seven days, everything you’ve been looking for” and a whole lot more including “unique stories, iconic stars and a mountain of entertainment… A-games, A-League and A-Listers”. 

The service replaces Ten All Access from August 11, a year after it was announced at the height of the pandemic.

The menu – which also includes new and classic films, popular local and international TV shows – is being priced at $8.99.
