Antony Catalano’s View Media Group has extended its reach into property with the acquisition of communications agency The Property Agency.

The 20-year-old company boasts 35 staff in Sydney and Brisbane, focussing on creative services for the property, especially off-the-plan developments.

Catalano says the deal with founder Bob St. Julian and managing partner Carl Mogridge “completes our full service communications offering for developers and project marketers”.

View has also changed the name of the Today Business media services business it acquired in 2022 to Today Media (no connection with regional news publisher Today News Group which operates digital agency Media Platform).

Catalano says the acquisition will make things easier for clients with a single brief covering both creative and media, “which will drive better alignment of the response to clients and ease of execution in the market.”

He says View is moving beyond the traditional listings model and “becoming a true property marketplace that enables consumers and businesses to transact along the full property journey for life.”

TPA founder Bob St. Julian (pictured) said aligning with VMG would “connect our brilliant ideas, stories and experiences to property buyers like never before”.

View also includes stock & channel management through Development ID, display suite solutions through Showcase and a dedicated portal for off-the-plan buyers and sellers Apartments & Developments.
